THE HISTORY OF INSEEC
The origins of our institution come from a vision and a desire to create an entirely new innovative model of business school, with respect for the need for balance. At the crossroads of french business schools and political studies institutes, the curriculum combines technical and humanities teaching and integrates for the first time international experience and the entrepreneurial dimension of education. Inspired by the principles of psychomotricity, to which our founder, José Soubiran’s family heritage links him, the training is based on the values of attention, listening and a passion for pedagogy and these principles drove him as a teacher. Its objectives are the progress and fulfilment of the pupils, with respect for each individual person, their skills and the search for the common good. All this is to be offered to the student in a safe learning environment.
Omnes Education. is a private institution of higher education and multidisciplinary research in the areas of Management, Business, Engineering Sciences, Communication & Digital and Political Sciences. Located in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Chambéry, London, Geneva, Monaco, San Francisco and Shanghai, it trains 25,000 students and 5,000 executives each year. A major player in the French educational landscape, Omnes Education. offers a new teaching model capable of meeting the challenges posed by economic, digital, organisational, environmental and societal transitions. OUR COMMON GOAL
Omnes Education was born from the pedagogical and strategic merger of schools sharing the same values of openness and commitment, in the service of critical and imaginative thinking and the entrepreneurial spirit. From the tradition of questioning the contemporary world and what it stands for, preserved throughout the 120 years of existence of our Institute of Political Sciences HEIP, to the culture of innovation implanted for a century at the heart of the ECE School of Engineering, the cultural philosophy of Omnes Education. is nourished by the educational principles of its community with one objective: to train and encourage free minds, ready to explore the world and be a source of ideas, to invent and to lead a life as citizen actors of a responsible and collaborative society.
OUR DNA
Innovation and the collaborative spirit at the root of all enterprises are linked by the same desire for creativity and achievement, whether it is to develop new products, new services, new processes or new organisations. In a competitive social environment, policies of innovation, or the use of particular forms of entrepreneurship, becomes a key to competitiveness, or even a necessary condition for survival. Born of the visionary imperative to imagine a new business school model, Omnes Education. carries this entrepreneurial DNA. In 2015, Omnes Education. created Omnes Education. INNOV, an entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem designed to push the inventiveness of its students and alumni and transform their ideas into innovative businesses. Omnes Education. INNOV has 6 incubators in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, London and Geneva with 3,000m2 of dedicated space, 2 FabLabs in Paris and Lyon and partnerships with the incubators La Ruche, Savoie Technolac and Citris Foundry at Berkeley University. Learning Expeditions to foreign countries are organised on our London and San Francisco campuses, cradles of innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants are mentored and coached in English by internationally renowned professionals from leading technology companies.
INNOVATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Omnes Education. INNOV develops and encourages projects as an active member of Tech for Good and women’s entrepreneurship with La Ruche, as well as disruptive local and international innovations in the medical and cleantech fields with Citris Foundry in Berkeley. Thanks to our Chair in Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, we participate in the AI Summit and our colloquia at the French National Assembly are also part of an approach that contributes to societal change and are designed to inspire and encourage innovative entrepreneurship through competitions. A collection of books completes the objective of disseminating the fruit of the work and reflections carried out within these frameworks. Our innovation ecosystem benefits from the key support and the opportunities given by our three shareholders: Cinven Partners, which opens the doors to international markets and new fields of study, BPI France, an active partner in innovation, and the INSEEC association, which supports our projects via its endowment fund. Omnes Education. also relies on key players such as Agorize, the platform that connects companies with 5 million innovators, Jacoop, a marketplace that brings together all the inter-company cooperation services, and La French Tech Bordeaux.
