How to study in France ?

Summary/Contents :

  1. About french universities
  2. All you need to know on how to study in France

In France, the higher education system is divided between public universities and private schools. Whatever your choice of orientation, your admission to a university in Paris, or in other major cities in France, you will have to go through several selection stages.

1. About french universities

France is a country known throughout the world for its culture, its art of living and its History. But beyond its tourist reputation, it is a destination of choice for an international student. Preparing your degree in Paris business schools allows you to take advantage of the active life of the capital.

The successful completion of courses in French universities requires the mastery of a main language which can be English or French. In Paris, as in all of France, the main language is French, but English is widely spoken. Whether you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree or aiming for a degree in Political Sciences, Business or Management, you will be tested in these two languages. Mastery of foreign languages will be highly valued in your professional experiences.

2. All you need to know on how to study in France

In order to study at universities in France, an international student from outside the EU countries will need visas. These student visas are issued by the competent public institutions for the duration of the student’s studies on a short or long term basis.  This is the main entry factor and costs vary depending on the student’s country of origin. Then, if you apply to INSEEC-U, once we receive your application, you will be invited to an interview with one of our university team members to whom you will submit your motivations.

Regarding the various expenses that an international student will have to prepare for, it is useful to know that a solidarity fund has been set up to finance the tuition fees. In order to help students in their great ambitions and to allow them to integrate the Grandes Ecoles and universities in Europe.

Degrees from France are widely recognized, especially for a graduate of Grandes Ecoles or Sciences Po. INSEEC-U’s Master’s degrees are integrated into a Grande Ecole program that will lead you to a true degree of excellence. These courses are available on our different campuses such as the one in Paris.
