FAQ

All applicants who live outside of France are looked after by the International Admissions Department. The same goes for any French students who live abroad or in the DOM-TOM (French overseas departments and territories).

International students are selected based on their applications and their motivation interviews. To find out more about all our admission requirements, please check the following link:

We require the following documents:

*A copy of the last degree/diploma that you obtained

*The transcripts of records of your last two years of study

*Proof of proficiency in English or French (depending on the language of the programme you have applied for)

*A copy of your CV

*A photo

*Proof of identity

International students may pursue a block release training programme providing that they have been living in France for more than one year. Should this not be the case for you, you can start your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies through the classical pathway and follow the next year as part of a block release training.

Students who live abroad can apply for a scholarship or a ‘Bienvenue en France / Choose France’ waiver under the usual conditions set by French embassies in the country in question. You can check these conditions on each embassy’s website.

Except for the 2,000-euro down payment, which is required after admission to finalise the registration and compulsory for student visa purposes, the remainder of the tuition fees can be paid by instalments.

Each School of the INSEEC Group has several housing partners which we will gladly inform you about in order to help you with your search.

  • The type of visa you may need depends on the length of your programme: Students arriving for a short programme (less than 90 days) should apply for a short-stay visa valid for the Schengen area. Nationals of many countries will not require a visa for a short-stay programme: please verify with Campus France.
  • Students of all nationalities willing to study in France for more than 90 days need a long-stay student visa with residence permit (VLS-TS). The VLS-TS visa is generally delivered for one year and is renewable in France at the end of that period if the student is enrolled in full-time education in France. Depending on your nationality, the VLS-TS visa will either be applied for via the local embassy/consulate or, in the 31 countries where there is a Campus France office, it will then be issued by Campus France through the CEF procedure.
  • Remember that the visa is only valid for entry into France (in the case of a short-term visa, a single-entry is permitted, whilst the VLS-TS extended student visa is a multi-entry visa): long-term students will also require a residence permit in order to legally stay in France.

  • Once you have obtained the letter for enrolment and paid the deposit:

– If you are from one of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo Brazzaville, South Korea, Ivory Coast, USA, Gabon, Guinea, India, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Senegal, Russia, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam, you will have to register with your local Campus France office to apply for admission and obtain a student visa. (https://www.campusfrance.org/fr/procedure-etudes-en-France)

– If you are not from a country in the above list, you should contact the French embassy in your country. Please note that citizens of the European Economic Area, Andorra, Monaco, Switzerland, San Marino or the Vatican do not need a visa. It will take approximately 2 months to obtain your visa.
